Social activist Sonam Wangchuk has ended his 26-day-long hunger strike in the presence of Union Ministers J.P. Nadda and Dr. Jitendra Singh. The development follows discussions on issues related to education and student concerns.
According to the statement, the Union Government has initiated major administrative changes in the Ministry of Education in response to concerns raised by the larger student community. It also stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured strict action against those responsible for the alleged examination paper leak.
The statement further claimed that those accused in the paper leak case have already been arrested and described the developments as a significant step towards ensuring accountability and protecting the interests of students across the country.
